SCHOOL REACH INSTANT PARENT CONTACT

In our effort to improve communication between parents and school, we will be implementing a new telephone broadcast system that will enable school personnel to notify all households and parents by phone within minutes of an emergency or unplanned event that causes early dismissal, school cancellation or late start.  The service may also be used from time-to-time to communicate general announcements or reminders.

When used, the service will call all phone numbers in our selected parent contact lists and will deliver a recorded message from a school administrator.  The service will deliver the message to both live answer and answering machines.  No answers (phones ringing over 40 sec.) and busies will be automatically retried twice in fifteen minute intervals after the initial call.

As we mentioned at our Meet the Teachers night, we are asking each family for $5.00 service charge.

The orange form was sent home with your children on 9/29/11.  Please fill in all numbers that you wish to be reached on and return to school as soon as possible.

AFTERNOON STUDENT PICK-UP

We are having a problem with students not being picked up on time after school is dismissed!  Dismissal is 2:50 pm for all students in Grades N-4.  Dismissal is 2:55 p.m. for students in Grades 5-8.

We realize that sometimes you get held up in traffic or bad weather, but, all students should be picked up no later than 3:05 p.m.  If students have not been picked up by 3:05, they will be sent to our after school program at a cost of our drop in fee which is $10.00.
